Greg Strong returned with more advice for the group on “Avoiding the Most Common Financial Missteps in Retirement”. As we move towards that time in our lives, it is essential that we understand the many things that impact our retirement income.

The third Friday morning session was titled “Lessons LEARNED from Dorothy and the Wizard of OZ”, presented
by ASBO members from North Carolina. The workshop provided us with leadership and team building skills along with a little fun and laughter.

After a short break we spent another memorable session with our keynote speaker, Billy Riggs. He used a wonderful blend of comedy, music, magic and motivation to spread his message of positive attitude in a most delightful way. Many came away shaking their heads and wondering “HOW DID HE DO THAT??” The final raffle drawings were held, with those in attendance eligible for some special prizes.

For the golfers in the group, the final activity of the conference was a Golf Tournament held at the Hidden Creek Country Club in Litchfield, NH. A fun time was had by all.

As participants departed Manchester, we were so pleased with their comments and recommendations. As a
committee, we are dedicated to making this conference the best it can possibly be. Each year we LEARN a few new tricks and techniques to make the next conference better and each year we experience the wonderful
camaraderie that an event like this can bring. We look forward to continuing this adventure with all of the business officials of our three states hope to see all of you in Stowe, VT on May 14-16, 2008.
